Zehra Abrar is a Law Clerk at Anwari Law, where she supports clients with refugee, immigration, and humanitarian cases. She works closely with lawyers, clients, and interpreters to prepare legal documents, manage filings, and ensure every case is handled with care and attention to detail.
She holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Victoria with a focus on refugee and human rights law, and has worked in both academic and nonprofit settings, where she developed resources and advocacy tools for migrant and newcomer communities. Zehra is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Kashmiri, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of clients.
Outside of work, Zehra enjoys reading, exploring Toronto’s diverse food scene, and volunteering with community organizations. She values creativity and connection, and loves spending time with family and friends.
